Booking & Availability
Booking Questions
Booking early is recommended, especially for weekends,
summer parties, festivals, and seasonal events. High-demand
dates may fill quickly.
You can request your preferred mermaid when submitting the
booking form. Final confirmation depends on the requested
date, time, package, location, and performer availability.
A booking is confirmed only after The Salty Siren LLC
receives the required signed booking agreement and the
required non-refundable deposit or full payment. Until those
steps are completed, the date is not fully reserved.

Location & Travel
Location Questions
The primary service area is Northwest Arkansas and Southwest
Missouri. Travel may also be available for select events
outside the main service area.
Location options may include private pools provided by the
client, public pools with permission secured by the client,
and open water sources such as creeks, rivers, lakes, or
oceans designated by the mermaid being booked within a
reasonable distance to the client location. Land Parties may
take place at homes, schools, libraries, venues, festivals,
and dry event spaces.
A travel fee may apply depending on the event location and
distance from the primary service area. Any applicable fee
will be confirmed before the booking is finalized.
Weather & Safety
Safety Questions
Water Parties require a safe and accessible pool or approved
water setting, responsible adult supervision, clear entry and
exit access, and an appropriate private changing area. Public
pools must have permission secured by the client.
The Salty Siren LLC has the sole authority to determine
whether weather, road, venue, pool, creek, river, lake, or
other water conditions are safe. Unsafe conditions may include
lightning, thunder, heavy rain, flooding, strong currents,
high winds, excessive heat, poor water quality, dangerous
wildlife, unsafe roads, or any condition that creates an
unreasonable safety risk.
Guests may not pull the mermaid tail, climb on the mermaid,
grab hair, touch the performer’s face, feed the performer,
throw objects, or enter the performer’s changing area. These
rules help protect the performer, guests, costume pieces, and
event experience.
Yes. Parents and responsible adults remain responsible for
child behavior and supervision. Children may not hit, kick,
push, pull tails, throw sand, rocks, or other items, or enter
deep water without a parent or responsible adult.
Pets may be present only if they are secured, vaccinated,
controlled, and non-aggressive. If animals create an unsafe
condition, services may be modified, suspended, or terminated
for safety.
Photos & Media
Media Release Questions
No. The media release includes a preference option where you
may choose whether The Salty Siren LLC may use photos or
videos of you or your child for promotional and marketing
purposes.
If permission is given, photos, videos, or recordings may be
used for lawful business purposes such as social media, the
website, advertising, printed materials, news or publications,
educational presentations, and future promotional campaigns.
Participants may still appear incidentally in background
photographs or videos taken during public events.
Agreements & Payments
Payment Questions
Yes. Applicable waivers, service agreements, safety terms,
media release preferences, and cancellation policies must be
reviewed and accepted before the booking is finalized.
Requirements may vary by package and location.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the
event unless full payment is required. The remaining balance
is due no later than 24 hours before the event. Bookings made
within 14 days of the event require payment in full at the
time of booking.
Once an event is booked, The Salty Siren LLC reserves
performers, equipment, travel time, and scheduling for that
event. Because of this, payments are non-refundable if the
client cancels, including cancellations due to illness,
schedule conflicts, guest cancellations, change of venue,
reduced attendance, travel issues, or personal reasons.
Rescheduling requests may be considered as a courtesy, but
they are not guaranteed. If a reschedule is approved, it must
occur within 12 months of the original event date and remains
subject to performer and company availability.
If The Salty Siren LLC determines that weather, road
conditions, water conditions, equipment failure, performer
illness, injury, emergency, or another circumstance makes
performance unsafe or impossible, the event may be canceled.
In that situation, the client may receive either a reschedule
within 6 months, subject to availability, or a refund for
services not rendered if a suitable replacement or reschedule
cannot be provided.
