What Does a Safety Assistant Provide?

Our safety assistant provides an additional layer of safety, organization, equipment support, and communication during swimming events, including:

  • Poolside safety
  • Equipment and tail management
  • Performer communication
  • Guest awareness
  • Event coordination
  • Emergency support procedures

Safety assistants are specifically to support and keep our performer comfortable and ensure their safety, and do not replace a lifeguard or adult supervision. Parents, guardians, venue staff, and/or lifeguards remain responsible for supervising children unless otherwise specifically contracted at booking.

Package Add-Ons

  • Additional mermaid — $175 per hour, per mermaid
  • Mermaid coronation — $45, includes a mermaid birthday crown and honorary mermaid certificate
  • Glitter or temporary tattoos applied by the mermaid
  • Fabric mermaid tail for the birthday child — starting at $50. You choose the color and size, and it is ordered once your deposit is placed, so delivery depends on shipping time.

Before You Book

Important Booking & Pricing Details

Final totals and confirmation depend on the selected package, event details, location, travel requirements, safety review, and required agreement terms.

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after the required agreement is signed and the non-refundable deposit or full payment is received.

Payment Timing

A non-refundable deposit reserves the event. The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before the event.

Short-Notice Bookings

Bookings made within 14 days of the event require payment in full at the time of booking.

Safety Review

Weather, water, road, venue, animal, and guest safety conditions may affect whether services can safely proceed.
